Cochlostoma is a genus of land snails with an operculum, terrestrial gastropod mollusks in the family Cochlostomatidae.
Distribution

Mantle caves serve as pulmones. Operculum corneous and multispiral. Penis is oriented above the right tentacle. Sexual dimorphism is often recognisable in external morphology.Ecology
