Maksut Igorevich Shadayev is the Minister of [Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation] since 21 January 2020.

Sanctions

Shadayev was sanctioned by the British government in 2022 as a result of the Russian [invasion of Ukraine]. In December, the European Union sanctioned him.
