The NWSL Championship Most Valuable Player award is presented to the best player in the National [Women's Soccer League] Championship Game.
Tobin Heath received the first NWSL championship MVP award in 2013; she scored the opening goal of Portland Thorns FC's 2–0 victory in the inaugural championship game. In 2022, Portland's Sophia [Smith (soccer, born 2000)|Sophia Smith] received the championship MVP award 2022 [National Women's Soccer League season|the same season] she was named league MVP. The most recent winner is Rose Lavelle.
