Nafris

Nafris is the pluralization of NAFRI, a German police abbreviation which stands for "NordAFRikanischer Intensivtäter" meaning "North African Intensive Offenders".
Police in Cologne were accused of racial profiling, and of degrading North Africans by referring to them as “Nafris”, as they tried to avoid a repeat of the mass sexual assaults in the city.
Mr. Jürgen Mathies, apologised publicly for a police tweet which referred to checks on "Nafris", but the term was already in use by German media before the tweet.
