Their body is narrowly oval, convex dorsally, widest before midlength of elytra and integument dark brown to black, while the mouthparts, antennae, trochanters, and tarsi are reddish brown.EtymologyThe species name is Latin and refers the tibiae lacking teeth, swellings, or apical expansions.
